REINDEER CHOCOLATE BALLS

Sunday, January 8, 2017

Hello lovelies,

here is the recipe of my Reindeer chocolate balls that I make every year. I made this recipe up, using the ingredients that I thought would be nice to mix together, but also healthy. All the versions of these reindeer balls I saw on the internet are way more different, with lots of sugar and milk chocolate, butter, etc.

I love cooking, and I think all of you know that already :D It is so relaxing and creative and I enjoy it very much. I would love to have my own youtube channel where I would only be cooking, sharing some healthy recipe ideas with you.

These reindeer chocolate balls make me so happy, and I couldn't wait Christmas to make them. It became sort of a ritual in my kitchen :P

So here are the ingredients you will need:
(bare in mind that I made up the recipe, so it is totally up to you what ingredients you will use, and what you prefer more, but if you use the exact same ingredients, I assure you, you will die when you taste them :D)

  • Ingredients
  1. 500gr of dark chocolate
  2. 3 large spoons of coconut oil
  3. 1 small tablespoon of vanilla extract
  4. 200gr of hazelnuts
  5. 50gr of cranberry
  6. 50gr of goji berries
  7. 50gr of raisins
  8. 200gr of almonds
  9. 100ml of coconut milk
  10. 100gr of dates
  11. 300gr of plazma cookies
  12. 100gr of pretzels

  • Instructions
Mix the nuts, raisins, dates, berries and plazma cookies in blender. Melt 1 dark chocolate with coconut oil and mix all together. Add vanilla extract. Make balls, put one hazelnut inside the ball, and put them in the fridge overnight.  That way you will have solid balls and it will be easier to put the stick into it. If you do not put them in the fridge overnight they will fall from the stick.

Tomorrow, melt the rest of the chocolate, and dip each pf the ball into the melted chocolate. Decorate with pretzels, m&m's and white balls as the eyes.

I created around 35 of the balls, so if you want less or more, adjust the ingredient amount.

Let me know if you try this recipe :)

Happy holidays!
