Hello lovelies,
since summer is here, I wanted to do some bright colored make up. I also had in mind to do an outfit post with this gorgeous lace dress, and I thought it would be great combination of summer outfit and make up, but not matching it. I wanted to do something that will be in contrast of this dress. I am not a big fan of doing the same make up everytime, although I have my favourite looks. But make up for me is pushing the boundaries of comfortable zone, and stepping into something daring and extravagant. I knew that this dress would look amazing with red lips and eyeliner, but instead, I chose some mint green smudgy kohl and neutral lips.

Hello lovelies,
this outfit is something I wear often during Spring/Summer. Striped skirt and stilettos are my ultimate favourite combination, and not because they are fashionable or trendy, but because I adore stripes. I find them unique pattern that goes with lots of different colors and materials. But I chose something simple and monochrome to keep it classic.

Hello lovelies,
I've wanted to do photoshoot with this blue dress long time ago, since I only wore it live, two years ago, in Slovenia. Since then I have been collecting red roses to make a crown. I didn't have enough red roses to do so.
The combination of red and blue is definitely one of my faves. Luckily, I can still fit into the dress, as it's in size xs, and I gained a little bit of weight :D
I didn't wore any jewelry because the effect of the crown and vibrant blue is effective enough. I kept make up super simple and as natural as possible. Minimal on eyes, and bold on lips. Hair took me a little bit longer, since my hair is so thick and wavy. I had to smooth the waves section by section for a long time, but I love the result.

I'll just post the pictures of the red dress I bought recently. After finishing my post I will go to sleep as I haven't been sleeping longer than a couple of hours for a week. I'm so tired.
I must say that I adore this dress!:) And as I've been writing about red here, I won't write the same things again, as I really adore red color.
I was in a rush so I really didn't pay that much attention to details as I usually do, and I know that you are used to editorial like outfit posts:)

I've been writing about Make up history a couple of months ago. You can see it here. I've been posting pictures and shared opinions about my make-up products, which you can see here. And yes, the first post, about my make up products needs to be completed, so I decided to do another post, of my make up products.
As I've said in the first part, it won't be post about make up recension. I'll just put the pictures of my skin care and make up products. As I use it, I obviously love it. There's no need to write about negative and positive sides, as I'm not any kind of make up guru. And to be honest, I've got no time for it.
I'll just say that my skin needs extra care, and is very sensitive, if not treated properly I may get breakouts. I'm hygiene obsessed girl, and I hate every little sign of dirt. My clothes need special care, I hate cigarettes, I don't like our second hand shops in which I immediately get red after I come in, I can't stand watching people sleep with their make up on, and seeing them with mascara left under their eyes. I find it awful. I've got nothing against second hand shops, I visit them sometimes, and one day I'll go to London and Paris just to visit all of their second hand shops. But our second hand shops are the story for its own. And oh, there's a huge difference between vintage and second hand shops(but I'll write about that in another post). And again, I started talking about tons of things at the same time.
Let's go back to make up. I'll be quick, as you could see every little detail about make up in the previous posts, to which I posted links above.
Let me start with the skincare products I missed to post in the first make up post.
I'll just say that, when I wear no make up, I'll just spray Avene Thermal Water and pat it with the tissue.
If I'm wearing a sheer foundation, just a small amount, I'll remove it with Avene-Extremely Gentle Cleanser.
If I'm wearing full Foundation,powder, false lashes, red lipstick, I'd use Miccelar Lotion for removing make up from face. But for eyes, I'll use another product separately, which is Avene Gentle Eye make up remover/it removes false eyelashes as well. After all of that, I'll cleanse my skin with some additional products, as it's not enough. I'll wash it with purifying gel, or put an exfoliating creme, or use Lotion Toner. But I wear it only in a special occasion(when I've got concert, or when it's someone's birthday party, etc)
Normally, everyday, I'll just wear spf hydrating creme, and a lip balm. Sometimes mascara,red lipstick and a tiny amount of eyeshadow. That's all.
Now, I apply foundation with fingers, I also use fingers for applying some eyeshadows. I use brushes from time to time, and I've got a couple of them. I've posted about each of it in the first part, so I'll just put one picture here.
Under make up, I always use Light Hydrating creme, and I use this one, as my skin is sensitive and Combination.
For cleaning my skin, but with no make up on, I regularly use Thermal water, and Extremely Gentle Cleanser
I've already explained what I use for removing extra make up, so I'll just put the pictures without description.
All together
When it gets warm and sunny in the early summer, I'll use this 30 SPF creme for face,
but when it gets warmer in July and August, I'll use this one with 50 SPF, for my body.
Now, let me add a couple of pictures of my make up products, which I didn't put in the previous post.

I'm deeply in love with all kinds of hats. Especially the ones called Hat Net ('French netting' or 'Russian veiling').
One of the first hats to be depicted was found in a tomb painting at Thebes and shows a man wearing a coolie-style straw hat. Other early hats include the Pileus, which was a simple skull cap, the Phrygian cap, which became identified later as the 'liberty cap' given to slaves in Greece and Rome when they were made free men, and the Pestasos which comes from ancient Greece and is the first known hat with a brim.
Although women from an early stage were always expected to have their heads covered by veils, kerchiefs, hoods, caps and wimples, it was not until the end of the 16th century that women's structured hats, based on those of male courtiers began to be seen.
It was in the late seventeenth century that women's headgear began to emerge in its own right and not be influenced by men's hat fashions. The word 'milliner', A maker of women's hats, was first recorded in 1529 when the term referred to the products for which Milan and the northern Italian regions were well known, i.e. ribbons, gloves and straws. The haberdashers who imported these highly popular straws were called 'Millaners' from which the word was eventually derived.
By the mid 1800's Swiss and Italian straws, together with imitation straws made from paper, cardboard, grass and horsehair were available to women, along with the introduction of velvet and tulle.
During the first half of the nineteenth century the bonnet dominated women's fashion, becoming very large with many ribbons, flowers, feathers and gauze trims giving an appearance of even greater size. By the end of the century, although bonnets were still prevalent, many other styles were to be found, including wide brims with flat crowns, the flower pot and the toque - feathers and veils abounded.
Although early in the 1900's most hats were enormous and adorned with flowers, feathers, ribbons and tulle, by the mid 1920's women's hair had become much shorter with the shingle cut and the cloche, which hugged the head like a helmet with a very small brim, had come into fashion. Now, after World War 1, there was suddenly such a proliferation of styles and materials that many women had to rely on the advice of milliners.
During the 1930's and 40's the tendency was for hats to have higher crowns with smaller brims and once it was War-Time again, it was mainly the trims which were changed with women making do with turbans made from pre-war materials.
Since their invention, hats have come and gone as status symbols, uniforms and fashion statements as well as being functional sports and protective headgear.
